As a tenant in social housing you have certain legal rights regarding your home including your occupation and use of the premises.

As your landlord Radcliffe has certain rights of entry to the property and can only remove you from the premises by following legal procedures. You have the right to quiet enjoyment of the property and can carry out certain changes and work to the property providing that you obtain your landlord’s consent.

For more information please consult your tenancy agreement.

Equal Opportunities

Radcliffe will not treat any person or group less favourably than any other person or group because of their race, colour, ethnic or national origin, nationality, gender, sexuality, marital status, appearance, mental or physical disabilities, mental illness, religion, age or due to their vulnerability in society.

Access to Information

In order to assist an applicant’s appeal and in the interests of being open, especially when making decisions relating to the sensitive issue of housing, Radcliffe will provide the applicant with copies of the Home Visit report, if applicable.

Monitoring for Diversity

In order to ensure the Society meets its Equal Opportunities commitments records will be maintained relating to the applicants own assessment of their ethnic origin and disability.

We seek to ensure that existing procedures ensure equal access to housing for all sections of the community.
